Also known as Southern Myotis. Found in coastal and subcostal areas from w. Kimberley across n. and e. Australia to lower Murray R. and se. SA. Always close to water. Uses a range of roost sites: caves, mineshaft, culverts, dense foliage and in tree hollows.
