Australia's largest glider. Found in eucalyptus forest and woodland. Mostly arboreal, solitary, nocturnal. Normally does not need much to drink.

AUSTRALIAN MAMMALS

Locally common in wet, damp sclerophyll forest on ranges and coastal plains near Mossman (Q) to Daylesford (V). Nocturnal, solitary; eats only eucalyptus leaves and buds.
