Small, omnivorous, arboreal, and nocturnal marsupial.

NOTE: Sugar Glider has been split into three separate species. This is the species now know as Sugar Glider.

Found along great Dividing Range and coastal plains from Kioloa, NSW to se Queensland in wide range of habitats: rainforest, sclerophyll forest, woodland, heath - from sea-level to sub-alps. Mostly nocturnal. Gleans invertebrates from litter and fissures in tree trunks.
