Widespread in the hinterland of Townsville, from near Bowen inland to Hughenden, Mt Hope and Croydon, but excluding Seaview Range. Occurs in woodland and more lightly-treed areas; typical mountainous areas with cliffs, ledges, caves and rock piles.
