Also known as Lemur-like Ringtail. Common in mature rainforest above 450 m between Ingham and Cairns, ne Queensland; isolated populations above 1100 m on Carbine Tablelands. Social, occurring as pairs or family groups; agile, leaps noisily from one clump of foliage to another. Shelters in the day, feeds at night.
