Usually found in single species roosts.Feeds mostly on rainforest fruits, some euclypt nectar and pollen; territorial and aggressive at food sources. Confined to coastal Queenslandfrom around Tully to tip of Cape York; camps tall rainforests, gallery forest, mangroves, paperbark forests. Threatened by habitat destruction and fruit growers.
